A total of three washing lounges on different floors have been equipped with WeWash. The first JOYN in Switzerland is now benefiting from the positive experience the company has already gained with the WeWash service in hotels in Germany and Austria.
Digital Service – From Booking to Check-Out

Conveniently Book Appliances Online
Thanks to WeWash technology, guests can book washing machines and dryers in shared laundry rooms online. This is done conveniently via a multilingual app or the web application. This saves guests having to go to the laundry room only to be disappointed to find that all the machines are in use. If all machines are occupied, the guest joins a digital queue and receives a notification as soon as the next machine is available. The reservation is free of charge for the guest, as is the cancellation of the booked machines. WeWash only invoices a wash or dry cycle when it has been completed.

Operation of the Laundry by an Experienced Full Service PR
WeWash already provides such a service to over 200,000 international users with 6,000 installations in Europe. A team of engineers ensures that the application is constantly evolving to save guests and operators time and effort.
JOYN Zurich also benefits from the fact that the laundry is operated by an experienced full-service provider. If guests and the JOYN Zurich team have any questions, they can contact the free customer service. In addition to operating the machines, WeWash also handles all cashless billing with the guest. This service is particularly useful for international guests. There is no need to top up a wash card or user account in advance, nor does the guest need sufficient change in the local currency to wash. In addition, there is no need for cash management at JOYN Zurich.
Greater Convenience Thanks to WeWash Care
JOYN Zurich has chosen to use the WeWash Care product. With WeWash Care, laundry rooms are equipped with WeWash Boxes and new energy-efficient and commercially approved appliances from Bosch.
Compared to conventional washing machines and dryers, these appliances are much more energy- and cost-efficient. Existing devices can also be integrated into the WeWash system as the WeWash Box is compatible with all appliances, regardless of age or manufacturer. In addition, WeWash monitors the appliances 24/7 via the WeWash Box and is therefore always aware of their technical status. Thanks to redundant network technology, the box does not require a WLAN. It receives all the relevant data for a reservation and sends all the necessary information for billing a washing or drying cycle to WeWash.
All of this is fully GDPR-compliant (German Data Protection Act). In addition, the continuous monitoring of the devices in terms of predictive maintenance helps to prevent long downtimes. WeWash detects irregularities immediately. If necessary, the Bosch customer service can repair or replace a device on short notice.
